The light shines through darkness
casting its glow upon hidden truth
in split seconds
it overtakes the cloud of darkness
which posits itself as strong
A look at the cloud
and the beauty of a rising sun
is an indisputable example
of the majesty of light
the power of the light cannot be challenged
by darkness nor the cloud
when my soul gropes in mystery
in search of its purpose and identity
i have no need of fear
for i know a light greater than the others
his presence overwhelms
his presence reveals
treasure around and within me
i anchor my hope on him
in trust that i shan't be lost
he knows the way through life
and his presence uncovers truth
