WHAT'S WRONG WITH BEING GAY?

I just got done having a girl's talk at a popular high school in the area. This young woman walked up to me and with a tear filled eyes she said, "All you said got to me ma. I want to live for God. However, I'm attracted to girls and when people know they frown at me so bad. If countries like South Africa and the others approve of it. Then, what's wrong with being gay?"

My heart cringed inside of me. I knew that at this point, I cant just say God hates it so must you. I needed to answer her question in the same logical way it came. This was in 2013.

Popping up on CNN was the decision of the supreme court as having legalized same sex marriage all over the United states. My mind raced to the young girl who said,  "If countries like South Africa and the others approve of it. Then, what's wrong with being gay?"

America is a world figure, She influences most action of the other nations in the world. Through changing generations, America has held herself as the dream/ Ideal place for anyone with ambition.

From Education, to business, to fashion, to politics even to food and health, nations have looked up to America as an example.

Same Sex attraction is a feeling of romantic pull towards a member of the same gender. This thing truly exists and is not going to dissapear in any time to come.

What's wrong with being gay?

In the first place, people don't choose who they fall in love with. So why would one have to leave with a constant condemnation by society if they chose to stick with a member of same gender? Well now at least in America, that condescending look and remark has been wiped off.

But does an approving law suddenly make something right?

Just to make things clear around here. This post is not for you if your definition of right is from the dictionary, the law or your conscience. yes darling. It is not for you.

People who feel attracted to same gender, do not seem to understand why at first. Its same as falling in love with a member of the opposite sex. However, what the world doesn't seem to understand is that there is a FORCE THAT PROPELS A MAN TO FEEL ATTRACTED TO A WOMAN. THAT FORCE WAS IN PLAY THE MOMENT ADAM SET HIS EYES ON EVE.

In that same light, THERE IS A FORCE IN PLAY WHEN A WOMAN/MAN GETS ATTRACTED TO THE SAME SEX. THAT FORCE CAME INTO PLAY THE MOMENT ADAM ATE OF THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE(GOOD/EVIL).

I know that someone might be saying, everything is not about God and the devil. How about what I want? Chill baby. 

Where do you get your definition of right or wrong? 

If it is your conscience, she only knows a minute part of life's detail. She is built based on knowledge and is subject to be conditioned. Therefore, she is a very limited source for your definition of right or wrong.

If it is your dictionary, She is equally limited cos she was written by a group of people controlled by the society and their norms. 

If it is from the Law, She is inspired by man's cravings and selfish/ambitious judgements. It is limited because the law guides the dealings of this earth time but not that of life hereafter.

I write to you dear believer,

The world can stamp and approve what they want. They can erase or create what they think is right. However, they are only in charge of a limited time in eternity. What you do with their decisions is going to mar or make you.

Lifting my eyes to the young girl in front of me, I said, "Baby girl, Do you have a soul? she replied. I went on. “After you die, your soul would no longer be answerable to itself. It will answer to the one who sent it on a journey- that person who said He doesn’t like homosexuality.”

I went on, “ See your life as a borrowed one. If you would be honoured and glorified doing as the one sent you has chosen or be destroyed and punished for all eternity for being homosexual what would you rather do? His will or yours?"

She said, I know its bad. But it's the other girl she keeps coming to me." 

I looked at her sternly and I said, "if she were coming to you with a gun and is ready to pull the trigger. If you escaped once what would you do the next time"?

Her eyes lit like she got it. She said," I will run away."

I pat her on the back and said, "That's what you ought to do."

To the reader,

When you receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, He gives you the power to resist and destroy inordinate affections. So you must not be enslaved by strange, soul destructive desires.

For the world, homosexuality is okay but for you, the believer be reminded of these things

1. You are part of a kingdom that vehemently frowns at homosexuality

Don't you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people--none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. 1 corinthians 6:9-10 (NKJV)

2. The Law is not made for you

We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers--and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine 1 Timothy 1:9-10 (NIV)

If you value your soul and acknowledge the truth that there is a loving God who made rules solely to protect us and keep us within the confinement of his glory and presence that ever betters us?  Then do not let the law of men make you accept that which our true King calls an abomination.

I pray over your mind right now, I rebuke in the name of JESUS CHRIST every war-like demon contending for your conscience and soul using the homosexual stand point of the world. I pull them down in the name of JESUS CHRIST and I liberate your mind and soul from the deceit and onslaught from the demon of sexual perversion.

I command that your soul stands firm in the liberty wherewith JESUS has liberated us. I decree that your affections are aligned to God's original plan and design in JESUS NAME, AMEN!!!
