HOW TO TURN A “BAD DAY” AROUND (THE LEMONADE PRINCIPLE)

Lemonade drink is a refreshingly satisfying drink made from lemon/lime. Remember the tingly-set-your-teeth-on-edge fruit? Most people will never leak a lemon or lime directly as they would an orange. As “unpleasant” as lime/lemon seem, a toss of sugar and water improves the thing!

The lemonade principle states that life is packed with uncertainties. Hence, when faced with the unexpected bad, you must create an expected good.
It refers to the ability to create favourable conditions from unfavourable ones.

Perhaps you just had a really bad day, or you’re grieving the loss of a relationship, job, opportunity or even the death of a loved one. It might even be that the answer to your prayers seems to be taking too long. Don’t worry. Life hits us hard at times. You are not the only one who has had to cry over something. We all do.

I’m about to show you seven (7) ingredients you need to toss into the lemon life has offered, so you can enjoy each season of your life.

If you’re ready, grab your pen and notes and let’s learn to make lemonade with life’s lemons.
You will need

1 CUP OF INSIGHT: This is the ability to apprehend the inner nature of things or situations. People who see at the surface level are often too blind to recognize opportunities in the face of challenges or disappointments.
Insight is a product of reflection. 2 Timothy 2:7
When something happens to you, relax and reflect. Bring the experience to mind and ask the Holy Spirit to flood His light on it. You will find valuable lessons to help you move forward. Don’t expect to successfully create something sweet or refreshing from Life’s Lemon if you lack insight.

2 BOWLS OF HOPE: Hope is the expectation of a desired end. A man without hope is more prone to suicide than a man with less an ounce of hope. When an unfair, harsh experience hits you, hope for the best so long as you are still alive! Hope assures your soul that something right will come out of your mess. You might be asking, “princess what do I anchor my hope on, seeing that everything is gone?” well darling, Here are 7 things that will never disappoint you. You should anchor your hope/expectation on them
1.     The word of God- Psalm 119:81
2.     The Lord -Psalm 13:3, Psalm 146:5
3.     The Mercy of God- Psalm 33:18, Psalm 147:11
4.     The Love of God -Romans 8:28, 1 John 4:16(My favorite scripture)
5.    The promises of God -2 Corinthians 1:20
6.    The faithfulness of God -Hebrews 10:23
7.    The blood of Christ (New Covenant)- Hebrews 13:20-21

1 SEED OF FAITH: Remember the scripture that says, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20
Faith is been certain of the existence of what we hope for. Crazy right? How can we be sure of something we still hope for? Yea, I think so sometimes. However, this is the only currency in which you can get anything you desire from God.
Faith says I believe in the abilities of God and His willingness to work in my favour. (Hebrews 11:1)

3 SPOONS OF OPTIMISM: This is the belief that good things will eventually happen. It is somewhat similar to faith but while it hinges its belief on the “eventuality” of life, faith hinges its belief on the ability of God to act on our behalf because we trust Him. Optimism alone is never enough. You must place your trust in God’s ability (faith)

Optimism hardly comes naturally. You have to choose to expect the best possible outcome in any situation. This is exactly what God expects of us when scripture says, “Be of Good Courage”- Mathew 14:27. You cant be courageous if you’re not expecting a better turn out on the events of your life.

1 1 CUP OF INGENUITY:  The ability to solve difficult problems, often in original and creative ways. Ingenuity is a product of inquisitiveness.  The 4 important questions to ask in life are
·        Why: Cause
·        What: Method
·        Where: Location in mind space or physical space
·        When: Timing
People who ask questions hardly miss it in life.

7 BOWLS OF JOY: oh yes you need lots of this. By the way you can add as much bowls as you wish. Joy NEVER ruins the drink. LOL
Joy comes not just in the morning. It also can be at night if only you take your eyes off the situation and fix them on the God who loves you! Psalm 34: 5 says “They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
Depression should never be entertained! It makes you lose touch with God and blocks the channels from which your soul could receive wisdom.

2 CUPS OF PEACE: Peace is proof of sanity. If you lose you peace in bad times, you might soon need a Psychiatric doctor, you know?  Lol
See this excerpt below from the book PROTHESIS

“You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.” Isaiah 26:3
The word Perfect peace is Salom in Hebrew. It means to be safe, be complete, be in health, security, and tranquility. The above scripture means trust is a decision which enables us our mind to focus on God; an act which brings safety, completeness, health, security and tranquility.

Mathematically: Decision =Trust = steadfast mind = perfect peace

You make the DECISION to TRUST God, that decision strengthens your mind and make it FIXED ON GOD; finally God rewards you with PERFECT PEACE.

Now go turns the Lemons in your life into a life-worth-drinking Lemonade!

GOD IS KIND: The Integrity of his promises

Read part 5 here My stomach started bulging. I sent pictures of us to my family. My sister-in-law posted on her WhatsApp status. About two or more people told her my face looked pregnant. She told me and I said my usual, Amen. After all, someone that’s been declaring herself pregnant since August should truly look pregnant by December 😂😂 I focused on my vacation, determined to thoroughly enjoy myself. One morning we all hit the gym and I led a dance exercise. Worried about my bulging tummy, I used a vintage  vibrating exercise belt  on my belly. Click the word to see how it works. It vibrated so intensely that my belly “caught fire” I begged to stop. Vacation was over we went  home. At this point, it was barely 3 days to 2021. I had an assignment to submit at school. I started writing it but noticed it was a struggle. It felt as though something foreign had hit my brain. I was also hosting a 12-hour prayer-thon. I managed to pull through these. Then we went for c...

GOD IS KIND: Prophetic Word

Read part 6 here       The one who made us smile this broadly will settle you in that area of waiting when you lest expect it.   My journey  to being Nkechi’s mum is only one part of my life where I’ve had to obtain things by aggressive faith. There is nothing good that I’ve ever desired that I haven’t had to purposefully switch on my aggressive faith mode to receive.  I have faith stories, from university admissions, to graduating with a second class upper, Landing  jobs, getting a car, hosting conferences and outreaches, winning souls, influencing/possessing territorial dominion, publishing books, getting married and now having children. Everyone of them when shared would provoke anyone to trust God.  However, while these stories have the tendency to portray me as a faith expert, I am far from being one. This is because  whether  God answers or not  he is God. My situation is not enough to validate the credibility of who he...

GOD IS KIND: The potency of trust

Read Part 4 here On this third day of praise, I felt like drinking Chinese tea. My praise jam was on already and I was reading my bible and making my confessions in preparation for my dance. I couldn’t shake off the urge to drink the tea. I made it and started sipping.  I started cramping badly. I was wondering why is this happening, I’ve had my period already. I don’t have endometriosis anymore. I will tell you how God delivered me from that one shortly.I continued my dance in pain. Before I knew it, I felt pressured below. I washed my hands and sent it there. Men and brethren, Look who came out . Both are the same fibroid. Picture 1: After I washed it. Picture 2: When it just fell out. I  felt different  emotions at once. One of which was fear. Ah God! What is this again? Are there more? What next? How long would this monster keep coming back? I summoned courage and resumed my praise. I gave my best dance that third day.  Shortly afterwards, my husband called. I di...
