Waiting…

For a better job, the wifey, the hubby, the promotion, the child, the admission or simply through the process? It never feels great.

I think I’m one of those people who have been through the school of WAITING and never seem to graduate. I look back at my life and I’ve had to wait for nearly every major event of life. It’s never been easy.

I can relate COMPLETELY with the midnight ocean size tears, the roller coasters between faith surge and Hopeless dips. I also can COMPLETELY relate with every stage of loss/grief- shock, denial, anger, bargaining, acceptance and whatever else you might have felt or are feeling.

I also know like the back of my palms, the disappointment the human soul feels when you doing all God asked you to do and not getting the result you anticipated or thought he meant to deliver.

I’m very familiar with disappointment, all shades of rejection and again whatever else you might have gone through or are going through.

Inasmuch as I’m grateful I get the chance to feel ( sadness, grief, pain and all the other adjectives associated with waiting) and empathise with you via this post, I haven’t come for us to build a pity party mansion in here. (Laughs)

This is what I want to do…

I want to take you by the hand and show you the door I constantly walk through. The door which leads me to the throne of grace where I not only find grace and obtain mercy, but also find the love and acceptance I need to live out God’s purpose for my life.

Trust me, baby. There’s no better way to endure and grow through the waiting season than to constantly fill your mind with thoughts of God’s love even when you don’t believe it! Yeah, I have moments like that when my dumb head doubts that he loves me,but i know by all proofs that CHRIST is addicted-ly  in love with me. His love for me is insane.

I’ve taken the time to write out the lyrics especially for those who mayn’t be able to play the videos for want of data. I encourage you to meditate on them. They are deeply thought words not just songs.
