HOW TO GAIN SATISFACTION

My throat yearned for the touch of a frozen liquid. It had been trapped hours behind the microphone ministering to eager young people.
I took the first can of malt I was offered. Uuuh-aaaah!!! My mouth gasped aloud in delight. It felt good to finally feel that cold 'ting' flood my throat. However, few moments later, I was set to prepare my body for bedtime when I realized I was still thirsty.
I reached for the bottled water by my bed and moans of hmmmmmm, aaaah, yes, escaped my mouth after every major gulp.
My conclusion after that day, chilled malt is nice but water is the answer to actual thirst.

The state “satisfaction” describes the point where expectation, desires or needs are met. Hence, Malt calmed my thirst but didn't satisfy me.

Depths of desires rage within us. Goals stare ahead of us, beckoning on us to grasp the pleasure of accomplishment.
As we journey through the year I will like to share with you God's comfort in the year 2017 and beyond. He says, "BUT YOU would be fed with the finest of wheat; with honey from the ROCK I would satisfy you."Psalms 81:16 (NIV)

A few things we should have in our hearts from this verse are

1.    You would be fed with the finest of wheat: Wheat is a cereal that typifies the substance for quenching hunger, desire, need or expectation in this verse. God says He will give you the best of that which you desire, expect or need.

2.    With honey from the rock I will satisfy you. Have you wondered what rock was been referred to?
Let’s find out
In Deuteronomy 32:4 Scripture says, “He is the rock, His work is perfect: for all His ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He.”(KJV)
In 1 Peter 2:4, it says “As you come to Him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious.
From the above scriptures and several others like Psalm 118:22, Isaiah 8:13-15, Isaiah 28:16, Matthew 16:18, we see JESUS being referred to as THE ROCK.
So when God says He will satisfy us with honey from the rock, He is saying I will satisfy (satiate your desires, meet your needs, grant your expectations) you with the Honey (sweetness/pleasure) that comes from me.

So technically, Yes God is going to give us the finest of things, people, resources and all we need to accomplish His purpose/assignment on earth this year BUT SATISFACTION, the pleasure of having needs met would only come from our connection with HIM.

I therefore encourage you to not chase after your desires, needs or expectations to the point where you lose touch with CHRIST- THE ROCK because yes you will get all you want but satisfaction is only in HIM.

So enjoy the finest brand of "malt drink" He provides for you this year, but don’t walk away yet because you’re not going to be satisfied until you take the real thing- Honey from the rock (the sweetness that comes from intimacy with JESUS).

Keep your eyes fixed on HIM.
Don’t procrastinate on the assignment.
Enjoy deep intimacy with Him in the word, worship and unrivaled obedience and you will be truly SATISFIED

If you are yet to have a defined relationship/connection with Jesus- the rock, I encourage you to do so now.
Pray this aloud if you’re ready

Lord Jesus, I Confess That I Am A Sinner.
I Agree That You Died To Pay For My Sins And You Rose From The Dead Giving Me Victory Over Sin And Death.
I Surrender To Your Lordship Over My Life.
Wash And Sanctify Me By Your Blood.
I Confess That I Am The Righteousness Of God In You.
I Receive Your Spirit To Dwell In My Heart From This Day Onward,
Amen

WELCOME TO THE YEAR OF SATISFACTION

Committed to your Fulfillment

GOD IS KIND: The potency of trust

Read Part 4 here On this third day of praise, I felt like drinking Chinese tea. My praise jam was on already and I was reading my bible and making my confessions in preparation for my dance. I couldn’t shake off the urge to drink the tea. I made it and started sipping.  I started cramping badly. I was wondering why is this happening, I’ve had my period already. I don’t have endometriosis anymore. I will tell you how God delivered me from that one shortly.I continued my dance in pain. Before I knew it, I felt pressured below. I washed my hands and sent it there. Men and brethren, Look who came out . Both are the same fibroid. Picture 1: After I washed it. Picture 2: When it just fell out. I  felt different  emotions at once. One of which was fear. Ah God! What is this again? Are there more? What next? How long would this monster keep coming back? I summoned courage and resumed my praise. I gave my best dance that third day.  Shortly afterwards, my husband called. I di...

GOD IS KIND: The Integrity of his promises

Read part 5 here My stomach started bulging. I sent pictures of us to my family. My sister-in-law posted on her WhatsApp status. About two or more people told her my face looked pregnant. She told me and I said my usual, Amen. After all, someone that’s been declaring herself pregnant since August should truly look pregnant by December 😂😂 I focused on my vacation, determined to thoroughly enjoy myself. One morning we all hit the gym and I led a dance exercise. Worried about my bulging tummy, I used a vintage  vibrating exercise belt  on my belly. Click the word to see how it works. It vibrated so intensely that my belly “caught fire” I begged to stop. Vacation was over we went  home. At this point, it was barely 3 days to 2021. I had an assignment to submit at school. I started writing it but noticed it was a struggle. It felt as though something foreign had hit my brain. I was also hosting a 12-hour prayer-thon. I managed to pull through these. Then we went for c...

GOD IS KIND: Prophetic Word

Read part 6 here       The one who made us smile this broadly will settle you in that area of waiting when you lest expect it.   My journey  to being Nkechi’s mum is only one part of my life where I’ve had to obtain things by aggressive faith. There is nothing good that I’ve ever desired that I haven’t had to purposefully switch on my aggressive faith mode to receive.  I have faith stories, from university admissions, to graduating with a second class upper, Landing  jobs, getting a car, hosting conferences and outreaches, winning souls, influencing/possessing territorial dominion, publishing books, getting married and now having children. Everyone of them when shared would provoke anyone to trust God.  However, while these stories have the tendency to portray me as a faith expert, I am far from being one. This is because  whether  God answers or not  he is God. My situation is not enough to validate the credibility of who he...
